In 1979 director George Miller unleashed an Australian indie movie that would help change the feel of science fiction apocalypse-themed films for all time. Nearly forty six years later Miller has returned with a tour de force action film that is so bursting with creative energy that it may change the way action films are made from now on. This week on Part-Time Fanboy, Kristian and Paul sit down to discuss their feelings about all of the Mad Max films…from the first film, to Road Warrior, to Beyond Thunderdome, and Fury Road. What is it about these movies and their settings that have captured the imaginations of filmgoers all over the world? We’re not sure but buckle in and settle down for a road trip through the Australian wasteland as we attempt to figure it out on this week’s episode of Part-Time Fanboy!
