We’re back! We’ve been gone for a while but the Part-Time Fanboy crew is back and we’re here to chat about The Defenders! Two years ago Netflix and Marvel debuted the Daredevil TV show which was the first part of a grand television experiment that culminated this weekend in The Defenders! Since Daredevil‘s premier comic fans have been treated to three other Netflix super hero shows: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist! From the beginning the plan was for all four of these shows to dovetail into one another to team up in a grand finale show called The Defenders! This week Leeahd, Ian, and Kristian gather ’round to chat about what they thought about the climax of the first wave of Marvel/Netflix shows. Did The Defenders deliver on the promise of everything that came before it? Was it able to recover from the bad taste that Iron Fist left comic fans with?
