SPOILERS! This week the discussion is about…what else? The 2018 sequel to the slasher movie that started it all…Halloween! Forty years ago John Carpenter brought forth unto the cinema landscape a movie that would change the way horror films were made forever! In the original Halloween Jamie Lee Curtis is stalked by the menacing Michael Myers, a murderous killer who slaughters people without remorse or reason. Four decades later Ms. Curtis returns to the role which started her career and the Laurie Strode of 2018 is a very different woman than the teenager that first faced The Shape that killed her friends on a horrifying All Hallow’s Eve night all those years ago! This week on Part-Time Fanboy J. Holtham, Paul Edwards, Reyna Velarde, and Kristian Horn all take time to discuss the Halloween sequel that wipes out all of the previous sequels before it and presents a new vision of the Halloween mythos that’s very different than any of the others that preceded it!
