Part-Time Fanboy loves beaver…Mr. Beaver, that is! Mr. Beaver is a comic book series created by Chilean writer/artist Pablo Verdugo Muñoz about an anthropomorphic talking beaver who is a butt-kicking crime fighter! Part Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, part Dirty Harry, Mr. Beaver is a fun comic book buddy cop adventure currently funding on Kickstarter and it is one of Kristian’s favorite comics to be released in years! Originally scheduled to drop in comic shops in late 2019/early 2020, Mr. Beaver became the victim of two things even he couldn’t combat: a negligent comic book publisher and worldwide pandemic. This week Kristian sits down with Pablo to chat about the creation of Mr. Beaver, why his first attempt at getting the comic published in the United States was unsuccessful, and his other comic book projects Cat Knight and Countdown!
