The Secret S.T.E.A.M Society is a series of educational graphic novels for kids and teenagers. Each volume of Secret S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Society focuses on a different subject, taking a deep dive into different topics such as music and spaceflight. The debut edition, being published on February 10th by Papercutz, focuses on horses. It’s an almost encyclopedic yet incredibly fun look at just about everything anyone would want to know about our equine associates. On this episode of the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian chats with the writer of the debut volume of Secret S.T.E.A.M. Society, Trevor Mueller (creator of the Albert the Alien series of graphic novels). They chat about just how much research Trevor had to do about horses for the book, how he kept an educational graphic novel from being a boring read, and how adults as well as children could learn a thing or two from the Secret S.T.E.A.M Society.
