It’s October! During the month of October Part-Time Fanboy continues its tradition of chatting about horror films during the Halloween month! This year, we’re doing things a little differently! Every week this month, Part-Time Fanboy welcomes some of their favorite indie horror comics creators to pick one of their favorite spooky movies and chat about it on the podcast!
This week we asked Phil Mucci, the creator behind The Diabolik Double Feature, to join in the fun! Phil picked the Argentinian horror movie, Aterrados (known as “Terrified” in English). Aterrados features the horrifying happenings in a neighborhood in Buenos Aires where the dead begin to rise and spirits malevolently stalk the residents of a local apartment complex. Expertly directed by Demián Ruga, Aterrados delivers some fantastically creepy moments which quickly made it one of Kristian’s favorite new horror movie finds. Kristian and Phil sat down to discuss what makes Aterrados so appealing to them as a horror feature and what makes it so different than so many of the horror movies being released today!
