Matthew Schofield is an over twenty year veteran of the animation industry, most notably having worked on The Simpsons TV show for most of his professional life. Even though he’s had a successful career working in television, he’d always wanted to be the guy at comic book conventions behind a table selling his own comics. One night while at dinner with his family…Matthew’s son inspired him by coming up with the name Steamroller Man for his own superhero. Matthew took the concept of Steamroller Man and created his own webcomic…which is now on Kickstarter raising funds for its first printed edition! This week on the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian chats with Matthew about getting his comic up and running on the web, how comic book artist Jonboy Myers inspired him to finally makes his own comic and get a Kickstarter campaign going, and how his method of writing and putting together an issue of Steamroller Man may be a bit different from how a comic book is usually created.
