Jayel Draco is one half of the publishing outfit known as Oneshi Press. Along with his wife, Lynsey G, they’ve produced such comics as Tracy Queen, Pack, as well as several other anthology comic book collections. His latest book, Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter, is currently funding on Kickstarter. Mr. Guy is a decidedly different take on the zombie subgenre. In Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter a half human-half goblin hybrid is on quest to rid the land of the shambling dead…all the while aided by a floating consciousness named Spooky to guide him along the way. On this episode of the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian chats with Jayel about who he thinks would actually survive a zombie apocalypse, how he went about working with other artists to create this last chapter of Mr. Guy‘s saga, and why he wanted to make his zombie take as irreverent and different as it is.
