Part-Time Fanboy Podcast: Ep 505 Andrew E. C. Gaska and E. L. Thomas Take An Evolutionary Step Forward With The Planet of the Apes Role-Playing Game!
July 8, 2024
by Kristian
Andrew E. C. Gaska and E. L. Thomas are two of the creative minds behind a new role-playing game based on the original Planet of the Apes film franchise which is up for pre-order on Kickstarter now. Gaska has a deep history with the franchise, having authored two novels based on the mythology of the movies from the sixties and seventies. Thomas has had a plethora of experience creating and writing about role-playing games. This week on the podcast, Kristian chats with both of them about their Odd Couple-like first meeting, how they came to work together and became the best of friends, and how they were able to take the Apes movies, TV shows, comic books, and novels and use them to create the mechanics for an RPG that pays homage to the science fiction classic.
Part-Time Fanboy. Full-Time obsession on a Part-Time schedule.
