As our civilization has reached upward to the heavens, the nature of mankind has changed very little. Oppressive governments, criminal gangs, and corporate overlords still run the show and most of humankind struggles to fight for the scraps of what they’ve left behind. This is the reality that Nicholas Keating Casbarro has created in his new novel and comic book series, Vitalerium: Descent Into the Void, a book that combines the best parts of Star wars-like sci-fi with Quentin Tarantino-like crime drama.
