It’s October! During the month of October Part-Time Fanboy continues its tradition of chatting about horror films during the Halloween season! Every week this month, Part-Time Fanboy welcomes some of their favorite indie creators to pick one of their favorite spooky movies and chat about it on the podcast! This week, we have a special treat leading up to the final day of the month: we’ll be focusing on three different horror flicks!
This first pick for Halloween week comes from multi media artist Phil Mucci (Diabolik Double Feature)! To kick off the last week of October Phil chose the Ryan Coogler vampire movie Sinners! When twins Smoke and Stack Moore (Michael B. Jordan) return to the South after a striking it rich in the Chicago gangster scene, they decide to fulfill their dream of opening up their own juke joint. As they begin to put their plans in motion, they have to deal with the past they’d left behind and the nightmare creatures who plan to make the opening night of their establishment its last! On this episode of the Part-Time Fanboy podcast Kristian chats with Phil and friends of the podcast, artist Lauren Damon, and Joe Slepski (of the Joe on Joe Podcast) about the movie that opened the year up with a bang and which still may be the best film (horror or otherwise) of the year!
