AC Comics is a publisher that has been around for over forty years in one iteration or another. With their flagship title Femforce and characters such as Ms. Victory, She-Cat, and Nightveil AC Comics has established itself as a small publisher that has survived the ups and downs of a comic industry that has taken down more than one indie publisher in the time that AC Comics has been around. Kristian sits down and chats with Editor-In-Chief and Publisher of AC Comics, Mark Heike, who talks about the history of AC Comics and running a comic company with no marketing budget and no convention appearances! Did that get your attention? We knew it would! It’s time to get some indie publishing knowledge with the head honcho of AC Comics on this episode of Part-Time Fanboy!
AC Comics titles are available for purchase at www.ACComics.com and can be purchased digitally at www.ACComics.net.

Excellent choice of interview and very informative! What Mr. Black and Mr. Heike have accomplished over more than 30 years in independent publishing is amazing, particularly with the routine upheaval in the comic book industry. As a long-time fan of their books, I’m always surprised that their product and their longevity hasn’t gotten more recognition and respect from supporters of small press comic books. Great choice featuring Mr. Heike/AC Comics in a podcast!
