NPR’s Fresh Air does an amazing report on the incidents that occurred at the Fukishima Nuclear Power Plant one year ago this week. You can listen to the the story by going here.

As someone who was horrified by this event and is very sketchy on the benefits of nuclear power to our society this was a very harrowing listen. I was pretty amazed how the media just sort of abandoned the story of a nuclear accident that some say may have been worse in ways than the Chernobyl incident.

This is not something that should be ignored.
