If you’ve ever listened to our podcast you know Corey Blake. You may have also heard his wife Nahleen Blake on our PTF Film Club episodes of The Godfather and Citizen Kane. Recently Nahleen and Corey have been fighting a very serious battle for Nahleen’s health. A little over a decade ago Nahleen was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, then in 2010 she was also diagnosed with Lupus. For years Nahleen has courageously struggled with her diagnoses. Recently though she’s come up against a wall while attempting to get a medication approved from her insurance company. Kristian sat down with both Nahleen and Corey to talk about their story, the challenges of Nahleen’s condition, and the current struggle they are dealing with when it come to obtaining a medication that their insurance company doesn’t want them to have.
