Skipper Martin is an independent comic book writer and publisher. In 2007 his comic book, Bizarre New World, launched to much critical acclaim but failed to perform on the sales charts. Unable to continue financially support the book, especially after the 2008 economic collapse, Skip had to put his project on hiatus. For almost ten years, Skip has poured his heart, soul, and wallet into building his Bizarre New World comic book and has finally launched a Kickstarter campaign to help bring his creation back into the world. Kristian sits down with Skip to have a serious discussion about the struggle of putting out an independent comic and how hard it can be to get your Kickstarter funded…even when critics and fans are on your side.
