Sixteen years ago the Fox television network debuted a bold new series called Twenty-Four. Twenty-Four was a show where each episode supposedly occurred in real time and each season would cover the events of one whole day. Starring Kiefer Sutherland, Twenty-Four instantly became a huge hit which tapped into the country’s post 9-11 fears of terrorism. Sutherland’s character, Jack Bauer, was a counter terrorism agent and each season of Twenty-Four would track a very intense day of his life defending the country against enemies both foreign and domestic.

Last week, Fox debuted a new series called 24: Legacy. Kristian sits down with one of his best friends and fellow Twenty-Four fanatic, Barry Brewer, to discuss the new spin off show that introduces a completely new character, by the name of Eric Carter, to the Twenty-Four mythology. Does this new show measure up to the original series? Or does it fail to uphold the legacy of everyone’s favorite CTU agent, Jack Bauer? Find out on this week’s episode of Part-Time Fanboy!
