SPOILERS! Forty Three years ago Gerry Conway, John Romita, and Ross Andru created a villain in the pages of Spider-Man issue 129 that would become one of the most popular characters the Marvel universe has ever known! Frank Castle, A.K.A. The Punisher, was a vigilante who used actual guns to kill the criminals he fought. Originally conceived of as an outlaw, The Punisher took on a life of his own in comic books and became a symbol for combatting the social ills that the public at large were facing in the late seventies and early eighties. This past weekend saw the debut of the new Netflix series based on Marvel’s gun toting crime fighter.  In this new century of a never ending war on terrorism Frank Castle’s adventures have come to take on a whole new aspect. This week, Kristian sits down with fellow Part-Time Fanboy Ian Scheller to chat about Frank Castle’s new series. Does The Punisher come out guns ‘a blazing in his latest incarnation? Or is he just firing duds once he’s finally gained his own TV show? Find out on this week’s episode of Part-Time Fanboy!
