Neil Gibson is the founder of the UK Comics company known as TPub! Currently TPub has a Kickstarter running for the latest issue of their comic series Transdimensional! TPub is a company that Mr. Gibson founded on his own years ago because a chance encounter with the Watchmen graphic novel in a comic shop introduced him to the world of comics and inspired him to create his own! This week Kristian chats with Neil (in a Starbucks in London…hence the strange quality of the recording) about building his own indie comic book company from the ground up! With titles like Twisted Dark and Tortured Life, TPub has become one of the more interesting indie publishers to watch out for! Neil talks about the state of comics in the United Kingdom, his process for creating and editing his own line of comics, and what he considers some of the secrets of creating a compelling comic book!
