This October Part-Time Fanboy continues the tradition of chatting about some of their favorite horror films! Every week this month, some of the Part-Time Fanboy contributors will pick one of their favorite horror movies and those of the crew who can join in will sit down to discuss it.

This week J. Holtham picks the ’90’s classic film Candyman. Candyman tells the story of an inquisitive graduate student who is researching urban myths. During her research she comes across the story of Candyman, a spectral being who appears and murders his victims after being summoned by saying his name in the mirror five times. Her curiosity gets the best of her as she begins to search into the origins of the mysterious Candyman and her probe takes her into the world of the Cabrini Green housing projects in Chicago. Once there she unleashes a true horror which she could have only imagined existed. This week, Kristian and J discuss the film that Jordan Peele is set to remake in the success of last year’s Get Out. Is Candyman worth revisting? Find out this week on Part-Time Fanboy!
