Barbra and Bryant Dillon are the power couple behind the indie publishing/media company Fanbase Press. The two met in college through the school’s theater program and would eventually not only move to California together but get married. In the course of working to pursue their dreams of working in the entertainment field they re-kindled a love of comics after discovering books like Preacher and Watchmen. As they dove into comic nerd-dom they found themselves not only developing a desire to create their own projects but also wanting to help others create a safe space to develop their own passion projects. Thus was born Fanbase Press, a media company that publishes comic books and broadcasts a variety of different podcasts.

This week Kristian sits down for a chat with the progenitors of Fanbase Press. Kristian delves into Barbra and Bryant’s history together, how they formed their company, and what their goals are for Fanbase Press in general.
