David Pepose is a writer who took the indie world by storm with his fantastically well received indie series Spencer and Locke. The trade collection of Spencer and Locke 2 comes out today in comic shops and was just as big a hit as the first series! This week on Part-Time Fanboy Pepose joins the podcast to talk about his newest project, Going to the Chapel, which he has described as Die Hard at a wedding. Kristian talks with David about the inspiration for his new series, the challenge of creating a new comic series not connected to his first hit book, and how he feels about whether comics deserve to be used solely as development vehicles for television and movies.
