Coronary is comic series which speculates about a world in which all plastic surgery is free. Any procedure to correct any flaw is easily within reach of the citizenry that inhabits the world of Coronary. Ryan Burke is the creator/writer of the series which imagines what a world of physically “perfect” people might be like. He’s currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the first trade paperback collection of his series. Burke has been able to crowdfund all four issues individually previous to this fundraiser and now he’s collecting all of the books into one package! Kristian sits down with Ryan to discuss what inspired his series, the challenges behind funding a comic with Kickstarter funds, and what the nature of true beauty might be.
