Steven Prince is a writer and artist who has been self publishing his own comic book, Monster Matador, for years. This week sees him kicking off a Kickstarter campaign for the latest chapter in the saga of his creation known as Monster Matador: Tango of the Matadors. Monster Matador details the adventures of a bullfighting matador who fights giant Kaiju-like monsters in a post apocalyptic wasteland. In this particular edition of Monster Matador, Prince has decided to hand over the art chores to a new artist, Fabio Alves. On this episode of Part-Time Fanboy Kristian sits down with the creator of what he considers to be one of the freshest new ideas in comics to chat about launching his first Kickstarter campaign, the challenges of creating comics on his own, and why he decided to hire a different artist to illustrate this new iteration of the Monster Matador‘s adventures.
