In 1984, almost a year to the day that the original mini-series debuted, NBC television aired the much-anticipated sequel to V. The original series had ended in a bit of an open ended fashion with Earth resistance fighters still locked in a struggle with the invading lizard-like Visitors for the future of our planet’s resources. The Final Battle was one of the most highly anticipated events of that year and sci-fi fans waited with baited breath to see how events would unfold in this second chapter of the V saga. Unfortunately, early in the production the creator and director of the first series left due to creative differences with the studio. This week Kristian sits down with J. Holtham, Yvis Cannivale, and Paul Edwards to discuss the epic follow up to a science fiction television event that left an indelible impression on anyone who watched it during its original broadcast. Could V be as compelling without Kenneth Johnson at the helm? Find out on this episode of Part-Time Fanboy!
