Mortal is a foreign film about a vagabond who finds himself cursed with godlike powers. He cannot control his abilities so he attempts to escape to the backwoods of Norway in an attempt to separate himself from other people he might harm. Unfortunately for him, other people do not give him the courtesy of giving him the distance he needs and he finds himself on the run after killing someone in self defense. Mortal is a slow burning thriller/horror movie that Kristian just couldn’t stop thinking about after discovering it on Amazon Prime about a week ago. Mostly because of the possibilities it raised when compared to another Norse superpowered individual who happens to be a fixture of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This week Kristian sits down with PTF regular Yvis Cannivale and special guest and friend of the podcast, artist and graphic designer, Keith Howell to discuss a movie that taps into a whole other sinister side of Norse mythological gods that Chris Hemsworth and co. never looked into.
