This past Friday saw the release of the final episode of the latest Marvel/Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier! When last we saw Sam Wilson/The Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he was being handed the legacy of Captain America by Steve Rogers. This latest TV entry into the MCU mythos explored what Sam decided to do with that legacy and how that legacy had been and could be tarnished by the actions of the United States government. Leaning heavily on classic Captain America runs by Mark Gruenwald, Kieron Dwyer, Robert Morales, Kyle Baker, Rick Remender, Stuart Immonen, and others The Falcon and The Winter Soldier swam into familiar waters for fans who’d been reading the comics for years. This week Kristian sits down with fellow Captain America fan Keith Howell to chat about what Marvel’s latest series had to say about everyone’s favorite star-spangled Avenger and what the possibilities could be for the man who will wield the shield in the future!
