Terry Mayo is a writer who broke into the comics scene with a book called The Wicked Righteous that was published through Alterna Press several years ago. Due some some tragic circumstances, Terry had to step back from making comics for a while. This Friday sees him returning to comics via Kickstarter with a somewhat all ages horror comic called Buddy. Buddy is basically the tale of what happens when a demon that possesses a child then decides to take residence in the family pet. This week Kristian chats with Terry and the artist of Buddy, Dave Swartz, about how they brought their project to life, why Terry decided to go the Kickstarter route instead of going directly to a publisher, and Dave’s own Indiegogo campaign for his horror comic Confederate Monster.
