In the lore of the original Dungeons and Dragons game there were certain rules that particular classes of characters had to follow. A magic user/wizard could not carry swords. A fighter/barbarian could not cast spells. But what if you were to take those two classes of characters and mash them together into one massive fighting/spell casting machine? That’s the basic premise behind Savage Wizard, a new comic book project launching on Kickstarter today. Created by writers Lesly Julien and Doug Wood along with artist Brian Flint, Savage Wizard imagines a new kind of fantasy warrior…one who uses mystical abilities along with brawn.
