Phillip Maira is a writer who has created his own comic book anthology series known as Crackle. Several months ago he was on the podcast promoting volumes one and two of his comic (you can hear that interview by clicking here). Never one to rest on his laurels, Maira is already launching the Kickstarter campaign for Crackle Volume Three today! This week on Part-Time Fanboy, Kristian and Phillip chat about the new stories in the latest edition of Crackle, how Maira equates the creative team of a comic book to that of the members of a rock band, and why he finds himself drawn to writing short form sequential stories more than full graphic novel sized narratives.
