Amputation Capital is a comic currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Published by TPub Comics, Amputation Capital posits a world in which celebrities and influencers sell off their body parts in order to hang onto what little fame they have once the shine of the spotlight ceases to illuminate them. It’s a comic that happens to be one of Kristian’s favorite releases of the year and is a perfect read for fans of filmmakers like David Fincher or David Cronenberg. This week on the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian chats with the writers behind Amputation Capital, Raymond Tyler and Neil Gibson (who also happens to be the publisher of TPub Comics). They chat about the inspiration behind their dark sequential tale, Neil’s unique method of using Excel spreadsheets to write comic book scripts, and just how far a story can go before it steps beyond a line that an audience won’t want to cross.
