How did the second Rocky film change after being given seven times the budget of the original film and a new director? This week Kristian chats with PTF regular Yvis Cannavale to talk about the Italian Stallion’s first return to cinemas. They discuss the changes in writing and filmmaking style between the first time Rocky Balboa challenged Apollo Creed and the rematch, take a deep dive into the Balboa’s finances, and continue to be impressed with how the second Rocky challenged the conventions of the male tough guy protagonist that existed in society at the time!
