This week Part-Time Fanboy crosses the International Date Line to chat with Australian comic book writer/creator David Hazan! David is probably most well known in comic circles for his series Nottingham but in the next month or so he has two new comic book series coming out! Debuting this week from Mad Cave Studios on May 3rd is Monomyth! Monomyth is a twisted take on the “average person being endowed with magical abilities” genre that so many fans have come to love with books like Harry Potter or The Magicians. In June, Death Drop Drag Assassin is being published by Scout Comics! Death Drop Drag Assassin details the exploits of a drag performer who used to live the life of a deadly killer for hire! Since she’s left the business of killing events conspire to return her to the violent life she’d once abandoned! This week Kristian chats with David about the two very different stories he has coming out from two different publishers as well as the inspirations behind them!
