Richard Fairgray is a comic book creator who loves Los Angeles. Originally from New Zealand, Richard considers LA his home away from home. Part of the reason he loves it there is because of all of the crazy characters and adventures one can meet and have there without even looking for them. He channels some of the experiences he’s had in the city in the latest volume of his comic, Haunted Hill…which is now funding on Kickstarter. This week on the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian chats with Richard about why he thinks The City of Angels is such a terrific place, how he uses his experiences there in his writing, and how his artistic process works when he’s crafting his comic pages.
