Trevor Fernandes-Lenkiewicz is a comic book writer/creator who has a prolific history with Kickstarter campaigns. He’s funded at least eight campaigns through his own publishing concern, Pocketwatch Press. Next week he launches his latest crowdfunding project for the second chapter of his superhero book Rise. Rise is a superhuman story unlike any other in that asks the question: what if a person could only do good if they felt good? It’s a comic that touches on the meaning of being male in today’s modern society and what our society’s expectations of men are. On this episode of the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian welcomes Trevor back to the show and they discuss the ins and outs of his take on the superheroic ideal and if any one man can truly live up to it.
