Tim Larsen is a comic book writer and illustrator who just finished wrapping up his comic book Mayfield Eight several months ago. Mayfield Eight was a tribute to the biker flicks of the sixties and seventies that were unapologetically full of action, sex, and violence. Now he’s decided to do a spin off series called Banshees M.C. which features the biker gang that was central to the chaos in his previous comic and is currently funding on Kickstarter. This week on the Part-Time Fanboy podcast Kristian sits down and chats with Tim about why he’s so obsessed with capturing the biker culture in comic book form, what it is about the motorcycle/car chase flicks of days gone by that appeals to him, and the freedom of working on a story that’s set in the freewheeling seventies!
