April Fools’ month is here so it’s time to talk about bad movies! All this month, we at the Part-Time Fanboy clubhouse will be talking about our favorite “bad” movies. Movies we love, but that other people may not have such a favorable opinion of or movies we haven’t seen, which have terrible reputations, and that we decide to give a shot to win us over.
For the last April Fools' flick of 2026, PTF regular Yvis Cannavale picks the mother of all eighties 3-D movies, Jaws 3-D! Kristian can barely contain his disdain for the third entry in the Jaws franchise as writer Clay Adams (Blazing Blade of Frankenstein, Nightmare Theater 3-D) and podcaster Joe Slepski (Joe on Joe Podcast) dive into the PTF lagoon with him and Yvis to test the waters. Does 3-D make what should have been the final entry in this series scarier? Or is 3-D just a cheap gimmick that hampers any real tension from building because of its necessity to constantly poke things at the viewer? Find out as Part-Time Fanboy discusses the movie that not even 3-D Lea Thompson in a bikini could save!
