Happy Halloween! What better way to welcome the horrific holiday than to chat about a spine-tingling new sequential art tale! The Feeding is a graphic novel currently funding on Zoop! It tells the Twilight Zone-like tale of a petrifying painting that does more than inspire artistic inspiration! Writer David Booher and artist Drew Zucker, most famously known for their all-ages fantasy comic Canto, decided they needed a change of pace when it came making comics…so they decided to do something completely different and make a horror comic! On this episode of the Part-Time Fanboy podcast, Kristian sits down with David and Drew to discuss what made them want to make a horror book, how difficult it was to take a break from a comic they’d been focusing on creating for years, and what different creative muscle groups they had to flex when it came time to embrace the dark side of comic book creation!
