It’s October! In October Part-Time Fanboy has a tradition of chatting about some of their favorite horror films! Every week this month, some of the Part-Time Fanboy contributors will pick one of their favorite horror movies and those of the crew who can join in will sit down to discuss it.

This week friend of the podcast, Daniela Stig, (from the Pretty In Pink/Some Kind of Wonderful episode) picked The Lost Boys. With the passing of Joel Schumacher earlier this year The Lost Boys was a movie that seemed to be an obvious choice to discuss this Halloween season. It’s one of Daniela’s favorite movies and is an eighties vampire flick that helped change the way fandom looked at cinematic bloodsuckers. What is it about this particular horror movie that cast a spell on every teenaged film fan back in the day? This week Kristian, J. Holtham, and Yvis Cannavale chat with Daniela to find out what it is about The Lost Boys that changed the vampire game and made it one of the more memorable horror movies of its day.
