Three weeks ago the CW Network premiered The Flash, the latest entry in the cavalcade of costumed crime fighter TV shows that’s hit the airwaves. The premier of The Flash opened to big ratings for the CW and as of yesterday news broke that a full season order has been made for the scarlet speedster’s television adventures. Twenty-four years ago, however, a somewhat different Flash TV show debuted on CBS and the results were very different. Kristian, Ian, and Paul sit down to discuss both of the TV shows that have featured fleet footed criminologist Barry Allen and try to break down the differences between the two as well as sort out why one seems to be succeeding while the other one failed.
