Years ago, while wandering the hallowed halls of the San Diego Comic Con, Kristian discovered what he considers to be one of the best superhero books of the past ten to fifteen years, The Sentinels. Over the weekend Kristian had the opportunity to sit down with the co-creator of The Sentinels and the owner/publisher of Drumfish Productions, Rich Bernatovech. Kristian talks with Mr. Bernatovech about the creation of The Sentinels as well as his current fantasy/sci-fi/superhero series Neverminds and his foray into graphic novel horror, Bugged . The two converse about the inspirations behind Bernatovech’s work as well as the effort it takes to truly put out a solid indie comic book on a regular schedule. Anyone who is interested in indie comics or superheroes outside of the realm of the big two will enjoy this episode! It’s a neat chat with a creator who’s been able to put out some great comic book product on his own without any help from outside publishers!
