T. Garrett Petersen is a writer who was inspired by Brian K.Vaughan and Fiona Staples‘s series Saga to create his own comic books. He currently has a Kickstarter campaign running for his new series, Deliverance. Petersen’s comic book explores what might happen if God had died and then the angels of heaven had to go search Earth for his replacement. Deliverance is the supernatural distant cousin to works like Preacher with the added visual flair of early Image Comics-style art. Kristian sits down for a chat with Petersen to discuss the interesting strategy he’s taking with his Kickstarter, his love of Robin Williams, and his religious upbringing which helped inspire the creation of Deliverance!
