Brian Level is a writer and artist who has worked for Marvel and DC Comics on books such as Absolute Carnage, Vader: Dark Visions, and currently on Batman vs. Bigby! A Wolf in Gotham…a Fables/Batman crossover book. Currently he has a project funding on the new crowdsourcing platform known as Zoop. The Brothers James is a vengeance thriller in the vein of old grindhouse seventies flicks in which twin brothers Jack and John James travel the highways looking to extract justice on the biker gang who murdered their parents years ago. Along with creators Ryan Ferrier and Eamon Hill, Level has sought to finish a project that began as an labor of love almost ten years ago! On this episode of Part-Time Fanboy Kristian sits down with Brian to chat about how he became involved with The Brothers James, what some of his experiences for working for big comic properties have been like, and how his love for filmmakers like Abel Ferrara shaped the world he helped craft within The Brothers James.
