Christopher Michael is a comic creator that is living the RPG nerd’s dream…making a comic book out of the role playing game sessions he plays with his friends! Michael took the 5th edition of the classic role playing game Dungeons and Dragons and modified it so he could create his own superhero campaign. Then, he went one step further…he took his group’s adventures and adapted them into a comic book! C.R.I.T. (Covert Reconnaissance Infiltration Team) is a comic book superhero series unlike any other in that it’s actually based on a real life tabletop RPG campaign! This week, Kristian chats with Christopher about the upcoming Kickstarter campaign for the latest issue of C.R.I.T. (launching October 12th-you can get to the pre-launch page by clicking here), how he goes about constructing the narrative for his comic when it’s based on a game whose fortunes can turn on the roll of a die, and how he taught himself to draw just so he could create a comic based on his gaming group!
