For the past several years, during the month of October, the Part-Time Fanboy podcast has talked about horror movies. This year, however, SAG/AFTRA was on strike so its members were prevented from talking about or publicizing struck movies…which meant pretty much any horror movie we wanted to chat about. Which is why this month Part-Time Fanboy brings you Decrepit December! For the next few weeks Part-Time Fanboy has invited some its favorite horror comic creators on the show to chat about horror flicks! This week’s pick was chosen by filmmaker and comic creator Phil Mucci (Diabolik Double Feature, Professor Dario Bava, Gringo Loco). Phil chose the Italian zombie farce Dellamorte Dellamore (aka Cemetery Man) because he’s a huge fan of the Rupert Everett starring film about a cemetery groundskeeper who must kill the corpses that come to life every night in his graveyard. What seems like a typical horror premise reveals itself to have hidden layers as Phil walks Kristian through what might be one of the most beautifully bizarre zombie flicks every created! Are you already tired of your neighbors’ Christmas lights? Fed up with the constant holiday cheer?
