In 2006 Warren Ellis (creator of such classic comics work as Transmetropolitan, The Authority, and Planetary) teamed up with artist Stuart Immonen and used their combined creative genius to create a new superhero series for Marvel Comics. The result was a madcap romp of a twelve issue maxi-series called Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E. that many fans still speak of with amused reverence more than ten years later.

On this episode of Part-Time Fanboy, Kristian sits down with fellow comic fans Corey Blake and Leeahd Goldberg to discuss the now-classic comic book series that seemed to influence so many books that came after it. Kristian and Corey had never read the series before while Leeahd had collected it when it was first released.
