Dan Price is an artist and writer who has been working on and publishing his own humor comics for years. With titles like Latex Avenger, Masters of the Obvious, and Excelsi-ish Dan has developed his own brand of humor with fun and irreverent comics aimed at poking fun at the superheroic side of comic book industry. In his latest outing, Bigfoot Knows Karate (currently funding on Kickstarter) Dan’s storytelling takes a bit of a more serious turn. Bigfoot Knows Karate still has its feet planted in Price’s trademarked comedic style but this particular tale is a bit less cheeky than the books he’s produced in the past. This week on Part-Time Fanboy, Kristian chats with Price about why he chose Bigfoot as the protagonist for his latest project, how he draws his comic with his fingers, and how he hopes to expand Bigfoot Knows Karate onto a larger canvas after this particular Kickstarter campaign has been completed.
